Brokers projected muted outlooks for the Thai stock market on Tuesday, as renewed Middle East tensions drove oil prices higher, increasing uncertainty for local equities. Maybank Securities (Thailand) expects the Thai bourse to consolidate in early trading, as the resurgence of geopolitical risks in the Middle East led to higher crude prices, prompting investors to become more cautious. The brokerage recommends monitoring TISCO’s upcoming earnings report, noting that better-than-expected results could improve sentiment and spur speculative buying within commercial bank shares.
